does Anyone know these people?
My great grandparents Harry and Ethel Anderson lived in Union City from the early 1940’s until the early 1950’s. I believe they rented a farm property on Bridge St along French Creek. I have some pictures of them and other family members standing on the “ new “” iron truss bridge. My grandfather grew up on a farm in the Bedford Somerset area and loved working with animals. My young aunt Carolyn also lived with them and spent most of her childhood in Union City. She was born in 1937 but according to the 1940 census they all lived in Munhall and Pop worked for USSteel. I found her in the Union City Anvil yearbook in eighth grade. They were still in Union City on the 1950 census. I assume they attended the First Baptist Church as that is the only church I know that they attended in the Pittsburgh area. I suppose they could have been parishioners of a Methodist church if that was closer. Deb Senan Currently from Nevada Texas If you have any information contact the website administrator kathy warnes.
